Winner of Best Feature at The Malibu International Film Festival in 2020 for “Greeting from Unicorn, California”. 2022-2023 his Experimental Drama Short “SKATEPOCALYPSE” Winner at the “Cannes Short Film Festival”, Winner at the “Other Venice Film Festival” and a multitude of accolades at Festivals around the World.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Originally from Northern California moved to New York City at the age of 20, quickly cutting his teeth, landing an apprenticeship with legendary photographer Richard Avedon and proceeding with Creative Director Gilles Bensimon at American Elle. These renowned institutions helped mold what is now Mendenhall’s visual dna through Filmmaking and Photography.
